Guess what? :-(
During my dr. visit on 10-30-13, I learned that I have Type 2 diabetes.
He started me on metformin (a diabetes med), and prescribed me a glucometer (blood glucose meter) plus lancets & test strips.
Apparently the doctor knew this since 11-15-12 (just a couple of weeks short of a year ago!), but the appointment I was supposed to be at got missed because that was the day my aunt had her heart attack.

Well, that is awful news to hold back for a year. I hope you are able to control it. I've had it for at least 10 years, and have managed to control it through changing what I eat and exercise. I pay attention to my blood A1c levels, a test that tells how your blood sugar level is over a long period. The sticks show you the immediate level. Keep up the great work on the LEDMuseum pages. Thank you for your efforts.
